It is necessary to first develop phonological awareness in individuals with special learning difficulties. It is important to make individuals aware that words consist of syllables and syllables consist of sounds. If individuals do not develop the ability to sense sounds in spoken language, they will have difficulty understanding and analyzing words.

Sensory integration is defined as a neurological process that organizes sensory information received from the body and the environment, enabling appropriate use.
The sensory information taken from the body and the surroundings goes through the processes of perception, interpretation, and integration in the brain, allowing an organized response to be generated. Thus, children adapt to life with sensory information from their bodies and the outside world and make sense of the situations around them.
There are seven senses that allow us to perceive stimuli from the environment and give adaptive responses:

Horse riding therapy aims to strengthen body muscles through exercises performed on horseback. During horseback riding, all major muscle groups of the body are engaged.
Hippotherapy is a type of treatment that aims to activate body muscles through exercises on horseback. During the process, the individual moves with the horse and instinctively tries to maintain balance to avoid falling, engaging both healthy and affected muscles.
A horse can transmit approximately one hundred vibrational signals per minute to the individual. As a result, nearly all muscle groups are engaged, fine motor skills are stimulated, and the formation of complex, precise, and clear movements is achieved.
The multi-dimensional swaying rhythm of the horse's gait resembles the pelvic movements occurring during a normal walking cycle and impacts the individual's pelvic region twice as much as normal walking, increasing sensory input.
